Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program

INTRODUCTION:
Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program offers funds to students who are juniors or seniors in college pursuing a bachelors degree in nursing.
Students who are selected will receive a scholarship for $8,000 each year they attend nursing school. 

Based on availability, C2C Scholars also have the possibility of interning at a Kaiser Permanente facility.

ELIGIBILITY:
-Must be of Hispanic background
-Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, residing in Northern California
-Must be studying full-time in the United States or Puerto Rico
-Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
-Must demonstrate financial need
-Must be a rising junior or senior in college pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing for the 2009-2010 academic year
 
HOW TO APPLY:
Required Documents:

-Official transcript - Postmarked by March 15th
-Proof of family income - Postmarked by March 15th
-Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by March 15th
-Essay - Submitted online by March 15th
-Letter of Recommendation - Submitted online by March 15th
-Resume - Submitted online by March 15th
-Financial Aid verification (if chosen as semi finalist only) - Submitted online by your financial aid counselor by June 30th
