Raymond and Velma Merkle Scholarships 2009

Introduction: Velma and Raymond Merkle were both raised and spent their lives in Colorado. Knowing their commitment to each other and being thankful for the education they received during trying times for our Country, motivated Velma to establishment this Scholarship. Though they never had children of their own, it was Velma’s hope that this fund would help a few high school seniors each year, to pay for some of their higher education expenses.
