MCC-Business & Technology FIRST Robotics Competition Scholarships

Introduction: The MCC-Business & Technology FIRST Robotics Competition scholarship is available for incoming freshmen planning to enroll in a degree or certificate program at the MCC-Business & Technology campus.

Eligibility:  1.Must be a current (senior year) FIRST Robotics Competition team member /participant. 2.Must have a 2.5 or higher high school GPA. 3.Must be enrolling full time. 4.Must be a US citizen or permanent resident (proof of status will be required). 5.Must earn a 2.0 GPA the first semester to maintain the scholarship for second semester.

How to Apply:  Complete the MCC scholarship application and include MCC-Business & Technology FIRST Robotics Competition Scholarship as one of the scholarships on the applicant list. Applications can be downloaded at www.mcckc.edu/scholarships.

Submit the MCC scholarship application with the following documents to the MCC-Business & Technology Financial Aid Office by April 1.

Missouri University of Science and Technology Scholarships

Introduction: Missouri University of Science and Technology is a premier technological research university which is nationally recognized for its innovative blend of academics and real-world experience. Eligibility: 1.A senior in high school 2.Participated in at least one full season during high school on a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team or a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team 3.Already admitted to Missouri S&T as a full time student 4.Have an ACT score of 24 or a combined SAT score of at least 1100 and a GPA of at  least 3.5 (on a scale of 4.0).

How to Apply: To apply for the Missouri S&T FIRST Robotics Scholarship the following documents must be completed. -1.A Missouri S&T FIRST Robotics Scholarship Application. 2.A 500 word essay regarding your FIRST Robotics experience. 3.A letter of recommendation.                                                                                      The completed Missouri S&T FIRST Robotics Scholarship application and all required documents should be submitted no later than: March 31, 2009 via e-mail to sfa@mst.edu or by mail to:
