Neumont University - Women In Technology Scholarships 2009

NEUMONT UNIVERSITY WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY SCHOLARSHIPS 2009

Introduction: To encourage the Enrollment of highly qualified women, Neumont University grants scholarships of up to $10,000 to those women who demonstrate superior academic competency and skills.

Eligibility: Complete an official standardized test (ACT or SAT) Submit official transcripts to Neumont University Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA for continued scholarship eligibility. Scholarship recipients whose GPA drops below the 3.5 minimum are given one quarter to remediate their GPA in order to retain this scholarship. Failure to remediate one’s GPA in the allotted time frame will result in scholarship ineligibility for the duration of the program. Significant work experience may be counted in lieu of a standardized test score.

Qualifications: Neumont Undergraduate Scholarship awards are intended for students who have been accepted to attend Neumont University’s Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program, information on scholarships offered to Continuing students, and Master’s program candidates may be found in the Course Catalog.

Neumont University - Community Service Scholarships 2009

NEUMONT UNIVERSITY - UNDERGRADUATE - COMMUNITY SERVICE SCHOLARSHIPS 2009

Introduction: To recognize Neumont students who have made a significant contribution to their community. The Community Service Scholarship is offered to individuals who have served at least 18 months in an organized full-time community service or military capacity.

Eligibility: Prospective students who would like to be considered for this scholarship must submit: A letter describing their community service A letter of recommendation from an official from the sponsoring organization Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA for continued scholarship eligibility. Students whose GPA drops below the 2.5 minimum are given one quarter to remediate their GPA in order to retain this scholarship. Failure to remediate one’s GPA in the allotted timeframe will result in scholarship ineligibility for the duration of the program.

How to Apply: Complete the Neumont University Online Application for Admissions - before our General Acceptance Deadline
Submit the Scholarship Application, along with any supplemental information noted in the application, to the Neumont Scholarship Committee.
Sign an Enrollment Agreement and pay the Enrollment Fee
Contact all schools you have attended and ask them to forward your official transcript to:

Students are encouraged to submit their application early so that it may be reviewed in multiple Scholarship Committee Review sessions. Applications and supplemental materials must be received, in their entirety, by the Scholarship Committee by the scholarship application deadlines.
