Mathematics And Mathematical Sciences Scholarships For Undergraduates

Introduction: To support low-income and middle-income high school students with top math and science test scores to apply college for free. 

 Eligibility:  Applicants must score a 4 on the math or science section of the high school WASL or score above the 95th percentile on the math section of the SAT or ACT 1.Have a family income at or below 125 percent of the state median family income at the time of application; a Washington state resident; 2.Agrees to earn a bachelor’s degree in a qualified math or science program at an eligible Washington college/university; and 3.Agree to work full-time in a math or science occupation in Washington for at least three years following college graduation.  4.Applicants must meet all the qualifications and requirements.

DigiPen Institute Of Technology - First Scholarships

Introduction: DigiPen Institute Of Technology is offering seven merit-based scholarships to high school seniors who have participated on a FIRST team during their junior or senior year. Two ($2500 each) scholarships will be awarded to the two top applicants and the remaining five ($1000 each) will be awarded to the five runners-up. A scholarship committee will evaluate applications based on an essay and the student’s academic record.

Eligibility: Be a senior in high school. Have participated at least one full season on a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team or a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team. Apply and be admitted to one of DigiPen Institute Of Technology’s fulltime degree programs. You may submit the FIRST scholarship application before you have been admitted to the college.

How to Apply: To apply, students must complete an application package with the following materials:
The completed DigiPen FIRST Scholarship Application form.
An essay (approximately 300-500 words) that describes your involvement on your FIRST team (i.e. what aspect of the competition did you focus on?) and explains how the experience has helped you prepare for your college career.
An unofficial copy of your most recent high school transcript
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must mail the completed application package to the address below no later than April 1st.
