Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program

Introduction: Kaiser Permanente College To Caring Program offers funds to students who are juniors or seniors in college pursuing a bachelors degree in nursing. Students who are selected will receive a scholarship for $8,000 each year they attend nursing school. Based on availability, C2C Scholars also have the possibility of interning at a Kaiser Permanente facility.

Eligibility: Must be of Hispanic background
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, residing in Northern California
Must be studying full-time in the United States or Puerto Rico
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must demonstrate financial need
Must be a rising junior or senior in college pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Proof of family income - Postmarked by March 15th
Proof of citizenship status - Postmarked by March 15th
Essay - Submitted online by March 15th
Letter of Recommendation from professor or teacher - Submitted online by March 15th
2nd Letter of Recommendation from community leader - Submitted online by March 15th
Resume - Submitted online by March 15th
Financial Aid verification (if chosen as finalist only) - Submitted online by June 30th
