Bluewolf Technology Scholarships 2009

Introduction: Bluewolf believes our talented youth should be afforded the opportunity to play a vital role in leading our industry and their communities into the future. For this reason we are committed to helping underserved students with a passion and talent for technology pursue their educational dreams. The Bluewolf Technology Scholarship for graduating high school seniors from New York City public schools was established for students who wish to pursue a degree in engineering, computer science or a technology-related field. Our mission is to encourage some of New York’s brightest students to pursue challenging careers in technology that are vital to our world today.
The Bluewolf Technology Scholarship will grant a one-time scholarship award of $2,000 each to one boy and one girl, to be used for tuition at an accredited college/university.

Eligibility: Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (0 - 4.0 scale)
Must provide an official high school transcript
Must provide SAT/ACT scores
Demonstrate an interest/aptitude for computer science and/or technology
Must show significant financial need
Must have 1-2 teacher recommendations
Must submit a personal statement on educational goals
Finalists will be interviewed by scholarship committee

How to Apply: Please print or type clearly all information requested. Be sure to include your name and name of school on all attached pages.
Part I: Complete this application, answering all questions, and sign.
Part II: Enclose a brief essay (two typed pages or less) on why you intend to pursue a future in technology and how you hope to contribute to its future.
Part III: Include 1-2 references from educators.
Part IV: Enclose an official high school transcript, or have it sent to the address below.
Part V: Enclose a copy of your official SAT/ACT scores.
Part VI: Mail all contents to:
