American Psychological Association (APA) and National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) - Minority Fellowship Program: Mental Health Research Fellowship

INTRODUCTION:
Annual award to support doctoral training in psychological practice, to increase the number of ethnic minority research scientists, to increase the knowledge of issues related to ethnic minorities and to increase the availability and quality of ethnic minority research training

Fields: Students from the complete range of psychology disciplines are encouraged to apply so long as their training and research interests are related to mental health.

ELIGIBILITY:
-U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are members of an ethnic minority group are strongly encouraged to apply.
-They should demonstrate a commitment to careers in psychology related to ethnic minority mental health.
-Must be enrolled in a full-time, APA approved doctoral program by the time the fellowship is awarded.
